For decades Capitol Hill residents have watched the stately Old Naval Hospital building at 9th and Pennsylvania S.E. slowly crumble and deteriorate. But now, the city has approved a plan by the Old Naval Hospital Foundation to restore this historic site and make it the Hill Center.
The Hill Center will be an exciting new facility for lifelong learning, cultural enrichment and community life, a vibrant campus and gathering place fulfilling a neighborhood dream.
